Right of Withdrawal
For consumers under German distance-selling law (orders placed via WhatsApp, phone, or email) — provided in English for convenience; the German version at /widerruf.html is legally binding.
Why this exists: under German and EU law, consumers who enter into a contract remotely — i.e. without a face-to-face meeting — generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. This notice is a legal requirement.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter, WhatsApp message, or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, I will reimburse all payments I have received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which I receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, I will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.
If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay me a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the time you inform me of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared to the full scope of services provided for in the contract.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal expires early for a contract for the provision of services once I have fully performed the service, provided that I began performance only after you gave your express consent and simultaneously confirmed your knowledge that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract by me.
In practice: so that I can start your check right away — instead of you waiting 14 days for your report — I obtain your express consent via WhatsApp before I begin. Without that consent, I only start work after the withdrawal period has expired.

No right of withdrawal for businesses
The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Contracts with businesses — such as the social media service for garages — carry no statutory right of withdrawal.
